Ultra Hold is built for shapes that must not move. Pompadours, quiffs, high volume on top, sharp partings that need to look the same at 9pm as they did at 9am — this is the wax that holds them. The grip is strong from the first application, but the wax stays workable long enough to build the shape before it sets, and it finishes shiny rather than dull or chalky.
Who it’s for: structured, high-volume styles and hair that tends to collapse by midday. Also the right choice if you use a hairdryer to build volume and need something to lock it in afterwards.
How to use: warm a pea-sized amount until clear, then apply to dry hair — this wax needs dry hair to reach full strength. Build the shape first with your hands, then use a comb for a sharper finish.
In the range: Ultra is the second strongest — Medium → Extra → Ultra → Mega. Step up to Mega only if your hair is thick and genuinely fights back.
