Who it’s for: slicked-back and sharply defined styles that have to hold all day, on medium to thick hair. If you want texture rather than a set shape, the matte waxes suit you better.
How to use: a small amount on dry or barely damp hair, warmed between your palms until it turns clear, then worked from the back forward. Add a second pass rather than starting with too much.
What you’ll notice: a firm, glossy finish that survives wind and a full day of wear. Water-based, so one wash removes it — no need for a clarifying shampoo.
